Q1: What Is Cellulite? What Causes Cellulite?
Cellulite is a skin condition affecting over 90% of most women. Even those with a slim figure often complain about cellulite’s external visible symptoms — it’s a lumpy, dimpled appearance. Cellulite commonly appears on the arms, hips, buttocks, and legs, but it’s not caused by being overweight as research shows. Cellulite appears in the subcutaneous level of skin tissue. Fat cells are arranged in chambers surrounded by bands of connective tissue called Septae. As water is retained, fat cells held within the perimeters of this area expand and stretch the connective tissue. Eventually this connective tissue contracts and hardensholding the skin at a non-flexible length, while the surrounding tissue continues to expand with weight or water gain. This results in areas of the skin being held down while other sections bulge outward, resulting in the lumpy, 'cottage-cheese’ appearance. Cellulite is a
combination of fat, toxins, and water retention.
Q2: Why do women have Cellulite? Why not men?
Estrogen is the key hormone involved in cellulite formation. As a result, 90% of women have
cellulite while most men do not unless they have a hormonal imbalance. Furthermore, the
subcutaneous fat layer is structurally different in women, and it permits more fat storage
than in males.
Q3: What is the lymphatic system's role in immunity?
It is the Key part of the body defense - The lymphatic system is a network of tissues and organs throughout the body. The primary of the lymphatic system is to help get rid of the body’s toxins, waste, infected cells, and other unwanted materials. Lymphatic drainage is essential because the lymphatic system lacks a pump of its own to transport lymph through the body and must rely on movement and massage to flush the fluid. Lymphatic drainage is good at reducing swelling, healing acne, relieving fatigue, and helps the body detox as well. As this treatment, we’ll activate the lymph glands circulation and strengthen the immune system. Besides loose inches and shaping, the client will be healthier inside out.
Q4: What is my home regimen?
Q5: Can diet and exercise eliminate cellulite?
Cellulite occurs in the subcutaneous fat layer, which response mainly to hormones and minimally to diet and exercise. It is common knowledge that poor lifestyle and inadequate nutrition can worsen the appearance of cellulite. It stands that a balanced diet and regular exercise can do a certain amount to prevent the presence of cellulite and keep it from moving into its worsen stages. Too much deep fried food and preserved foods may result in the appearance of cellulite.
Q6: Can liposuction remove or reduce the appearance of cellulite?
Surgical liposuction is the most effective procedure for body contouring, involving the removal of fat from deep fat layers. Cellulite is found above the muscles. Surgical liposuction is not typically performed in the subcutaneous fat layer; therefore, it is not the treatment of choice for cellulite and it does not work as prevention as well.
