Meet Eileen

Beyond The Spa is operated by Eileen LaPorte, who has been in the spa business since 1980. Eileen grew up in Taiwan. She developed a variety of aesthetic and spa treatments during the time her family owned 23 spas all over Taiwan and Shanghai, China. Also, she operated 5 resort spas for her family before she immigrated to the United States in 1998. She established a resort spa in San Jose, California in 2006.

Eileen has established a large client base through her excellent service and dedication to her clients. Eileen relentlessly strives to ensure that all her treatments meet her high standards and prides herself on offering some of the highest grade services and skin products in the Bay Area. Her goal is to educate and care for all her clients’ skin care needs as well as offer a place where her clients’ can leave their worries behind and relax.

2006 - 2011: 2005	Operated Being Spa at Dolce Hayes Mansion, San Jose, CA as General Manager. This location has voted “The Best Resort Spa in Silicon Valley.” Received medical aesthetician certificate.
2001 - 2004:	Licensed Esthetician, Massage Therapy Instructor San Jose CA
1999 - 2000:	Immigrated to the USA from Taiwan
1997 - 1998:	Regional Director, operated five locations of hotel spas and fitness club in Taiwan: Hotel Royal Chihpen, Tai-tung; Spring City Resort, Taipei; The Splendor, Taipei; Tayih Landis Hotel, Tainan & Evergreen Laurel, Taipei.
1993 - 1996:	Being Spa International Group, Director of Spa Treatments Development, Taipei, Taiwan. In charge of inventing and developing the new treatments. Helped Being Spa International Group headquarters developing 45 world class treatments that were exclusive for the company. Conducted a training system for more than 600 spa technicians. The system was included video, manual and evaluation for beginning, intermediate, and advanced technicians.

1981 - 1984:	Bachelor degree, Graduated from the Department of Physical Education (Dance Section) Chinese Culture University
